Summary:
Our client, Technology company in the healthcare industry, is looking for a Business Development Director. You will be responsible for selling their services and technology to Health plans. This is the sole sales person for the organization and this is an opportunity to put your own foot print on the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead-generation to contract execution
  • Develop relationships with Executive Level Leadership in health plans across the United States
  • Cold calling prospects and setting up meetings to create a pipeline of clients
  • Create and maintain daily activity plans, track sales progress and manage monthly and yearly sales forecasts
  • Work with Legal and other departments to negotiate and create contracts
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to generate leads

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 plus years of experience selling to health plans such as Medicare Advantage, Commercial or Medicaid Risk Adjustment, and/or HEDIS
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships and closing new business
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to travel 25% to 30%
