Successful manufacturer based in western Maryland is looking to hire its first CFO. The company is the recognized leader in its industry in the nation, the environment is closely-knit, and revenues are growing each year.
The CFO will be responsible for the corporate finance function, including budgeting and forecasting, business operations analysis, cash management, cost management, financial reporting and internal controls. Reporting to the President, he or she will handle the treasury function, managing cash flow and working with financial institutions re covenant compliance. The CFO will develop and implement performance metrics by department with KPI's for accountability, analyzing production, sales, COGS and inventory. Responsibilities also include maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers, working with the outside CPA firm to develop financial and tax planning strategies, and overseeing the accounting/finance department.
